| Lori Karol Continuing Education Scholarship $1,000 towards attendance at POPS Annual Conference for POPS Members Dr. Lori Karol was a true trailblazer, leader, mentor, role model, colleague, and friend to us all. As an advocate for Advanced Practice Providers, Dr. Karol was instrumental in the foundation of POPS in 2005. POPS MICROGRANT Two separate grants up to $1,000 annually (one time award) The objective of the POPS Microgrant Program is to advance musculoskeletal care for children and adolescents through Advance Practice Provider lead education, research, quality, safety and value initiatives, and advocacy. The program was established in 2024 to encourage POPS members to lead and become involved in orthopaedic research and quality initiatives, in an attempt to improve patient care.
