    Mid-Career Momentum: Elevate Your Expertise and Expand Your Horizons. This session, tailored specifically for mid-career Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), will explore the evolving role of APPs in pediatric orthopaedic care. Attendees will review the diverse responsibilities of APPs, with an emphasis on maximizing their contributions to the healthcare team. The session will highlight innovative practice models that enhance team collaboration and patient outcomes, while also discussing strategies for ensuring APPs are practicing to their full scope of expertise. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with key strategies to optimize their involvement in pediatric orthopaedic care, improve team dynamics, and elevate patient care. 

    The Physis: Unraveling the Secrets of Growth and Development. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the critical role the physis (growth plate) plays in pediatric orthopaedic care like guiding accurate diagnosis, treatment strategies, and prognosis. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to engage in case-based scenarios to practice utilizing technology platforms for making informed decisions about interventions, tailored to the patient’s growth potential. This session is designed to enhance clinical decision-making and improve outcomes in pediatric orthopaedic practice. 

    Collaboration in Complexity: Navigating Multidisciplinary Case Challenges. In this session, participants will explore the essential components of effective multidisciplinary teams in pediatric orthopaedics. Through a focus on collaboration, attendees will learn strategies for fostering communication and cooperation across specialties to provide the best possible care for pediatric patients. Through debate format, the session will also cover best practices for ensuring safe surgical outcomes for children with complex medical conditions, addressing the unique challenges these cases present. Additionally, participants will gain a comprehensive overview of management strategies for children with medically complex conditions, equipping them with the tools necessary to navigate these intricate cases effectively and improve patient outcomes.
